    Mkar Journal of Economics and Development (MJED), a quarterly publication of the department of Economics, University of Mkar, Mkar, Nigeria, is an open-access and double-blind peer-reviewed journal. You are therefore cordially invited to share and publish your research with the Journal in areas such as Economics, Econometrics, Management, Marketing, Communication, Development Studies, public Administration and other Related areas.

    Before submission, authors are required to revise their manuscripts for grammatical issues and readability as well as similarity. Each manuscript is subjected to a preliminary test to ensure it passes the submission check list before a subject editor is assigned to review for suitability. If judged suitable, double blind peer review takes place. Based on recommendation, the editor takes decision. The review period is usually three weeks or less. Please, remind us if you do not receive the review report after three weeks.
    Manuscripts should conform to the 6th edition APA referencing format and should have appropriate JEL.codes.
