This study investigated the effect of training on sales performance of Benue Investment and Property Company Limited Makurdi in Benue state of Nigeria. The specific objectives of the study was an investigation on the effect of on job rotation method of Staff training on Sales performance of Revenue generation in Benue Investment and Property Company Limited, Benue state of Nigeria. The survey design was employed for the study while appropriate and relevant primary data was collected for analysis through a well-structured questionnaire. The unit of analysis was performance of Benue Investment and Property Company Limited, Benue state of Nigeria while respondents were relevant staff of the company under investigation. The study employed a census sampling technique as the population of study was manageable. A combination of descriptive and inferential statistics was thereafter used to empirically and statistically analyze the data collected, with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 23. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the demographic characteristics of the respondents, the regression statistical tool was used to analysis and test the study hypotheses. Findings of the study revealed that a positive relationship exist between the variables studied. Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that Staff training in the study area has positive effect on the performance of Benue Investment and Property Company Limited, Benue state of Nigeria. The study therefore recommended (among others) that training should always carried out on staff to generate more revenue in the study area.
