About the Journal

General Information

Mkar Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences (MJPAS) is an independent journal of the College of Science, University of Mkar, Mkar, Nigeria. The journal is aimed at encouraging publication and dissemination of research findings especially within the academic community. The vision of the journal is to be renowned for dissemination of research findings in Nigeria. To achieve this aim and ensure academic excellence, the Editorial Board has employed the use of specialized editorial sub-committees to conduct preliminary review of submitted manuscripts before forwarding them to reviewers. Distinguished academicians drawn from various Nigerian Universities constitute the Editorial Board and Editorial Advisory Board.

Scope of the Journal

MJPAS is a bi-annual publication established to publish original research works not published or being considered for publication in any journal elsewhere. MJPAS will publish researches in all aspects of pure and applied sciences, including Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Microbiology, Medicine, Food Science, Geology, Environmental sciences, Public Health, Parasitology, Entomology, Botany, Zoology and other related fields in the sciences.
